The World Lebanese Cultural Union unites Lebanese and their descendants across the globe — bound not by geography, but by a shared identity and a shared responsibility to Lebanon.

Nothing tests that responsibility more than the fight our children face against cancer. Through this campaign, WLCU's global diaspora network is coming together to stand behind the Children's Cancer Center of Lebanon (CCCL) — because no child battling cancer, and no family beside them, should ever face it alone.

WLCU exists to connect Lebanese people everywhere back to Lebanon in tangible, meaningful ways. CCCL represents exactly the kind of cause our global membership rallies behind instantly — it's about our children, our future, and our shared duty to protect both. About CCCL:

Inaugurated in April 2002, the Children's Cancer Center of Lebanon (CCCL) is a regional reference NGO pioneering in providing access to standard treatment for children with cancer in Lebanon, at no cost to their parents and with complete dependency on donations.

The impact of CCCL is undeniable, with an impressive 80% average cure rate. CCCL currently supports around 300 patients, from newborns to 18 years old, under treatment from more than 15 nationalities.

The treatment usually lasts 3 years, with costs that can range from 40,000 USD up to 200,000 USD in certain cases; hence, a yearly need of 15 million USD.  Until now, the center has supported in the treatment of around 5,900 children since 2002.
